Password Reset & Account Recovery
How to securely reset a forgotten password and recover access to your VidyaSchool account.

Step-by-Step Guide
Click 'Forgot Password'
On the login page, click the 'Forgot Password?' link below the password field. This opens the password reset form.
Enter your Registered Email
Enter the email address you used to register your account. The system validates that an account with that email exists before sending the reset link.
Check your Inbox
A password reset email is sent within 1–2 minutes. The email contains a time-limited reset link (valid for 1 hour). Click the link to open the password reset form.
Set a New Password
Enter and confirm your new password. It must be at least 8 characters. Avoid reusing your previous password. Click 'Reset Password' to save. You'll be automatically redirected to the login page.
Important Warnings
- Password reset links expire after 1 hour. Request a new one if yours has expired.
- If you registered with Google or GitHub (social login), you don't have a VidyaSchool password. Log in using your social provider.
Frequently Asked Questions
I didn't receive the reset email. What should I do?
Check your spam folder. If it's not there after 5 minutes, request another reset link. Make sure you're entering the email you registered with.
I use social login and can't reset my password here. What do I do?
Social login accounts don't use VidyaSchool passwords. To reset your access, use the password reset option on your Google or GitHub account settings page.
