Educator Support & Complaint Tickets
How teachers can file support tickets for IT issues, infrastructure problems, or escalation to administration.
Note for Educators
This portal module is fully integrated with your dashboard profile. Contact administration if permissions are restricted.
Filing a Support Ticket
Click 'File a Complaint' in your sidebar. Select the appropriate recipient: • IT Support (Admin): For portal bugs, device malfunctions, projector/smartboard issues, or network problems. • Academic Coordinator: For timetable conflicts, syllabus disputes, or inter-departmental issues. • Principal / Vice-Principal: For serious escalations, safety concerns, or policy violations. Fill in the title, detailed description, and any relevant context. Attach screenshots or photos of the issue if applicable.
Tagging Students or Colleagues
Use the 'Tag People' field to reference specific students or other staff members involved in the issue. This notifies them and gives them visibility into the ticket thread. Useful for multi-party issues (e.g., a classroom dispute involving multiple students).
Tracking Resolutions
All submitted tickets are tracked in 'My Complaints' in your sidebar. Statuses update in real-time as admin processes the ticket. You receive an in-portal notification and email when your ticket status changes to 'In Progress', 'Resolved', or 'Closed'. Include your CMP reference number in all follow-up communications.
